Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Oversees engineers performing diagnostics, monitoring and inspecting equipment, and reviewing grid technologies, building relationships to facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer of related work groups</li><li>Leads the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate and lead with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, integration and implementation of future technologies and asset performance management strategies</li><li>Assists in a variety of engineering and business initiatives and grid strategies, including development of innovative procedures and design recommendations</li><li>Provides support for new equipment installation and startup, then leads the hand over processes to the ramp and sustaining phases</li><li>Leads junior engineers in investigation of threats on the distribution system infrastructure based on observations and findings</li><li>Gathers and correlates basic data using engineering studies and procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems</li><li>Facilitates training and professional development opportunities for engineering team members to enhance their skills and knowledge</li><li>A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.</li></ul><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field.</li><li>Seven or more years of experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.</li><li>Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Expertise in major substation apparatus such as transformers, circuit breakers, solid and gas insulated switchgear, battery energy storage system, rapid earth fault current limiter (REFCL) systems</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards including IEEE and IEC.</li><li>Experience with system studies and software such as CDEGS and PSCAD </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Effective communication and leadership abilities to represent SCE at technical committees and coordinate with cross-functional teams</li></ul>Additional Information <ul><li>This position’s work mode is hybrid.
