Principal Engineer, Assay and Data Automation

ResponsibilitiesThis Engineering Technician - NPI&nbsp;position will be located at Howmet Whitehall Casting.&nbsp; Primary responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Assist engineers in report preparation, process approval packages, dimensional reports, deviated material reports, etc.</li><li>Assists manufacturing/engineering with NPI start-up activity – proper execution of development trials, manufacturing instructions, quality issues, equipment trouble shooting, etc.</li><li>Monitors product/process to identify areas for improvements and cost reduction.</li><li>Reviews nonconforming materials for cause and corrective action and MRB submittal.</li><li>Assists in expediting the flow of NPI product through the manufacturing processes to meet the customer delivery requirements and HWC commitments.</li><li>Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>QualificationsBasic Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of an Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical technology or related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Minimum of one year experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.</li><li>​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
