Job Title: Weaponeering Program Support Specialist (Contingent Upon Award)Company: Altus EngineeringLocation: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MDSalary: $70,000-110,000Position Overview: We are seeking a Weaponeering Program Support Specialist to work with the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) Program Office supporting Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual (JMEM) products.*This position is contingent upon award*About Us: Founded in 2003, Altus Engineering is a Maryland small business providing professional engineering services to the Department of Defense and industry customers. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding professional and technical services through building and empowering teams that will continue to grow with us.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist the Program Office by maintaining management materials, to include schedules and briefings associated with subordinate functional area tasks, deliverables, and strategic planning utilizing Microsoft tools.</li><li>Provide liaison support to external technical teams and attend meetings on behalf of the PMO.</li><li>Provide support for meetings by preparing briefings, taking meeting notes, and support product demonstrations.</li><li>Assist in developing and delivering status reports, highlighting the progress of efforts being undertaken.</li><li>Manage requirements and documents that will be accessible by the Program Office.</li><li>Coordinate receiving feedback from various stakeholders through, emails, phone discussions, in person meetings, etc.</li><li>Provide safeguarding and maintenance of all classified data and material generated from current and previous JMEM efforts in support of development and publication efforts.</li><li>Provide administrative support to weaponeering and software development tasks as needed.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Information Systems or Engineering, and 5 years of relevant experience OR</li></ul>Qualifications/Desired Skills:<ul><li>In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience in weaponeering, targeting or vulnerability/lethality modeling</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance</li><li>Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences</li><li>Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Project</li><li>Experience working with military systems and databases.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>If you're driven by intellectually stimulating work, enjoy collaborating with talented peers, and thrive in a high-performing environment, then Altus may be for you!
