We are currently working on developing real-time pricing ticker plant software to operate fully on public cloud.</p><p>We have multi-functional agile teams dedicated to different parts of Market Data applications.</p><h4><strong>The Team</strong></h4><p>The FFIO Market Data Engineering team delivers and supports innovative market data service solutions to meet the needs of internal business partners and external customers. Our systems and data professionals thrive with an unrelenting dedication to innovation, which fosters a culture of continuous improvement supporting a differentiated market data experience for Fidelity associates and customers.</p><p>The position itself requires a strong background in application development, testing, deployment, with familiarity of cloud computing. You will have the opportunity to build applications that use Snowflake and AWS. You should enjoy working on eclectic technologies in a team environment where your success depends heavily on the success of your team and organization. You should have an appetite and appreciation for new technologies and their pioneering influence.</p><p>This is a very interesting position with exposure to the core Fidelity financial business applications, comprised of both custom and 3rd party products.</p><h4><strong>The Skills and Expertise You Bring</strong></h4><ul><li>7+ Years of experience in developing Enterprise applications in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL </li><li>2+ Years of experience working with AWS EC2, EKS, S3 </li><li>Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery </li><li>Development Experience in Snowflake, Go, Python, Groovy, Power BI, and Shell Scripting is a plus. </li><li>Experience with automated testing (unit/functional and/or performance) </li><li>Bachelor’s and/or master’s in computer science or other related discipline </li><li>You are delivery focused with end-to-end ownership </li><li>You are familiar with agile development and ability to work well with others </li><li>You have strong commitment to learn and implement high standards in engineering </li><li>Good attitude towards troubleshooting skills that span systems, network, and applications </li></ul><h4><strong>The Value You Deliver</strong></h4><p>As a member of FFIO Market Data Engineering team, you will be working on developing modern market data applications and operate them over the public clouds. You will be helping millions of Fidelity customers make financial decisions based on the quality of data delivered through these applications.</p><h4><strong>Dynamic Working </strong></h4><p>At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call “Dynamic Working.” Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
