CTTO is responsible for support and harmonization of Cell Therapy Manufacturing Processes across the manufacturing network throughout the product life-cycle from pre-clinical through commercial manufacturing. The Sr. Principal Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of cell therapy manufacturing technologies, including cross-departmental collaboration to enable facility fit, development of process documentation (global guidance documents, process control strategies, process risk assessments, etc), inspection readiness, and technical regulatory submissions. The Sr. Principal Engineer will support commercial product lifecycle management, including authoring of technical assessments and monitoring process performance including, but not limited to, continued process verification. This role will seek to cultivate and foster technical innovation, strategy, as part of the ability to deliver great experiences to all American Express colleagues.DescriptionIn this role, you will report to our GI Head Engineer to act as “Developer Zero” – a hands-on senior Infrastructure Developer who consumes our client facing APIs, builds and manipulates infrastructure and deploys test applications on top of that infrastructure - just as our AppDev partners do. The role will in one direction provide direct feedback to the GI Engineers on areas for optimization and improvement on behalf of our clients, and in the other direction, provide guidance to our clients on how best to consume our GI product offerings.As “Developer Zero”, you will be essential in helping to uplift our enterprise-wide infrastructure services to ensure high levels of product availability for the customers and partners of American Express. This role is critical in delivery of functions to service the full stack of Amex enterprise solutions.&nbsp;Some of the problems we'll work on include:<ul><li>Testing new GI software components and APIs.
