Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Chemical Engineer to work on our Applied Uranium Team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.&nbsp; The Applied Uranium Technologies Department is in the Nuclear Science and Technology directorate and is part of the Integrated Fuel Cycle Solutions initiative at INL.&nbsp; We support the safe, secure, and economic management of nuclear materials from inception to final disposition by ensuring availability of special nuclear materials and strategic isotopes, reducing proliferation risks, managing radiological waste materials and used nuclear fuels and developing research, development, and deployment test beds.&nbsp; We perform research from bench-scale to applied engineering demonstrations.&nbsp; We have many areas of research interest including flowsheet development and testing for advanced fuel cycles and critical materials recovery/separation, Off-gas capture (I and Kr/ Xe), High-assay LEU recovery from zirconium and aluminum fuels, HEU/HALEU polishing/down-blending/conversion, National security mission, and Critical and Strategic Minerals and Materials Initiative research and collaborations. This role will support our other IRM teams, while also managing core ServiceNow administrative functions, upgrades, cloning, and integrations.<h4>Key Responsibilities</h4>Day-to-Day Platform Administration:<ul><li>Manage users, groups, roles, ACLs, and other platform configurations.</li><li>Monitor for and Address platform performance issues</li><li>Maintain scheduled jobs and resolve issues as needed</li><li>Update and maintain data taxonomies and libraries as needed</li><li>Debug issues and implement fixes across IRM and core ServiceNow modules.</li></ul>Platform &amp; DevOps Enablement:<ul><li>Provide Technical Leadership and Innovative Thinking to implement a world-class set of platform capabilities</li><li>Implement platform solutions to enable adoption of DevOps principles</li><li>Implement platform monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of Production and non-Production environments</li><li>Architect/Build custom solutions to solve for complex and critical platform needs not addressed by out of the box ServiceNow offerings</li><li>Architect/Configure/Support integrations with external systems (e.g., GRC tools, vendor platforms).</li></ul>Upgrades &amp; Enhancements:<ul><li>Plan, test, and implement ServiceNow platform upgrades and IRM module releases.</li><li>Ensure customizations remain functional post-upgrade.</li><li>Test and Apply patches and hotfixes as needed.</li></ul>End-User Support<ul><li>Provide day-to-day user support and resolve tickets related to ServiceNow IRM</li><li>Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and configuration guides.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications:</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) &amp; Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification</li><li>5+ years of Service Now Administration and Development Experience</li><li>Solid experience with IRM/GRC modules (Policy &amp; Compliance, Risk, and/or Audit)</li><li>Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio.</li><li>Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, instance cloning, and system maintenance.</li></ul>Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
