Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support capacity modeling, scheduling, and throughput analysis to optimize production planning for CAR-T operations.</li><li>Assist in time studies, workflow analysis, and process mapping to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Partner with manufacturing leadership on Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including visual management, standard work, and waste elimination.</li><li>Develop tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.</li><li>Contribute to facility readiness and operational scalability projects, ensuring alignment with GMP compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Facilities) to support project execution and problem solving.</li><li>Document findings and present recommendations to the Manufacturing Director and leadership team.</li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.</li><li>All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment.&nbsp; Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</li></ul>Preferred Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis/visualization tools.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a regulated GMP environment.</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.</li><li>Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by working in a fast-paced biotech setting.</li></ul>This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program.
