The plant produces 24/7: work schedule is variable.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: <ul><li>Operates equipment manually and through instrument panels and computer terminals.</li><li>Performs field tests (chemical and physical) in order to pace chemical dosages for process control units or alter unit processes.</li><li>Monitors and observes operating conditions, records observations and data and diagnoses basic operational problems and takes corrective action.</li><li>Follows process control procedures for assigned areas; verifies and reports suspected malfunctions and variances to Manager.</li><li>Prepares chemical solutions, monitors process chemical supplies and recommends reorder.</li><li>Samples water and solids according to schedule.</li><li>Performs routine lab tests, and routine instrument calibrations.</li><li>Performs minor maintenance including routine preventive and corrective maintenance, lubrication, and minor adjustments; and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, recommends solutions and, where appropriate, fills out work orders.</li><li>Operates vehicles for plant operational use.</li><li>Performs cleanup and housekeeping tasks for work area, tools, equipment, facilities, and grounds.
