In March, the Ruoff Mortgage 500 NASCAR Weekend kicks off the race season at Phoenix Raceway, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions will be crowned in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series West. Phoenix Raceway also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including corporate meetings and conferences, charity events, holiday events, sport and endurance competitions, driving schools and Segway tours.Position DescriptionPerform a variety of duties necessary to maintain all aspects of the track facility with special emphasis on event preparation, track rentals and on-site activities.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks<ul><li>Operate equipment of all types (tractor, dirt compactor, backhoe, water truck, power/hand tools, fork lift, dump truck sweeper) as directed by Manager of Facility Operations and maintain equipment as necessary to meet goals and objectives of facility.</li><li>Communicate, manage, and work directly with track vendors and contractors.</li><li>Operate equipment of all types as directed by Manager of Facility Operations, and maintain equipment as necessary to meet goals and objectives of facility.</li><li>Hang and dismantle signage, banners, etc., as needed.</li><li>Dig ditches with shovel, trencher and or backhoe.</li><li>Maintain landscaped areas as required to achieve desired results in overall appearance of facility.</li><li>Clean grounds, including but not limited to, removal of trash and litter, year-round.</li><li>Repair tools, water lines, fences, gates, walls, walkways, buildings and perform necessary general maintenance as directed by Manager of Facility Operations.</li><li>Paint track wall, fences, concrete barriers, grounds and buildings utilizing ladders, lifts and scaffolding as directed by Manager of Facility Operations.</li><li>Positive interaction with other facilities staff to ensure the best case scenario for accomplishing respective tasks.</li></ul>Performance <ul><li>Willingness to accept direction in diverse circumstances and the ability to adapt manual skill level to a variety of work areas and see a job through to completion in a satisfactory manner with little supervision.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum age 18 years old.</li><li>High School Graduate/GED</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Successfully pass a driving record check. General Maintenance Event Staff - Phoenix Raceway

Representatives will credibly and responsibly represent oneself as the face of Phoenix Raceway to current and prospective customers. This is a temporary seasonal position and hours will be dependent on the appearance schedule.Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/ Tasks<ul><li>Transport the Show Car Hauler to and from a variety of events</li><li>Assist in the set up and tear down of the display, including loading and unloading of the Show Car in and out of the hauler</li><li>Ensure the car is clean and properly on display at events</li><li>Actively collect prospects for future email campaigns</li><li>Be an expert on the products and services offered by Phoenix Raceway</li><li>Assist with a variety of Event Experience activations on March and/or November race weekends</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Performance Measures<ul><li>Level of enthusiasm and professionalism displayed during interaction with customers</li><li>Compliance with safety regulations/ procedures</li><li>Reliability and dependability</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Currently living in Arizona</li><li>Post high school education required or equivalent experience</li><li>Exceptional work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for the sports / motorsports industry</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled</li></ul>Special Position Requirements<ul><li>May require some out-of-town travel</li><li>CDL Licensed</li></ul>The ShowCar is a fully-functional NASCAR Stock Car which appears throughout the state sixty to one-hundred times annually. The program includes the ShowCar, promotional giveaways, interactive games, and ability to prospect. ZoomCrew members are expected to show up early to help with setup and stay after events for tear down. The position requires you to have a means of transportation to events; they are primarily throughout the Valley but in some instances statewide.
