JOB STANDARDS:
Minimum Faculty Qualifications&nbsp; All full-time and part-time faculty teaching credit-bearing courses at the associate’s degree level in the areas of humanities, fine arts, natural sciences, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, and business administration (not including courses that are part of career/technical programs) must have at the minimum a master’s degree in their teaching field or have completed at least 18 graduate semester hours (or equivalent) in their teaching field and hold a master's degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
The Faculty member must have a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the college level.

We offer day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year. As a rule, adjunct faculty may teach a maximum of five classes per academic year.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Teaches Medical Billing and Coding courses at a variety of times and locations</li><li>Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material to real work examples</li><li>Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner</li><li>Utilizes a course syllabus and course plan for each course, following established institutional guidelines</li><li>Meets with and advises students either before or after class by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods</li><li>Conducts formal and information evaluations of students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress</li><li>Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community</li><li>Attends meetings, trainings and, orientations as required. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile.
