Clinical practice is considered equally valuable to your work as a professor as compared with other contributions.</li><li>Professional Service. Participation or leadership in a local, state, regional, or national division of the American Counseling Association, the American Mental Health Counseling Association, or another reputable counseling organization. This is considered on equal value as other activities professors engage in.</li><li>Scholarly Activities. Research, publication and/or presentations on a scholarly topic of interest. Publications and presentations are both considered scholarly activity of equal value.</li><li>Grant Writing.
