<h4>POSITION SUMMARY:</h4>The part-time faculty member (rank commensurate with experience) within the Physical Therapist Assistant Program is primarily responsible for course instruction and/or course coordination in the didactic and/or clinical phase of the program. It is expected that a faculty member will be effective in the areas of course design, course delivery, and evaluation. The faculty member is instrumental in assisting the program to ensure that students consistently meet the program’s Student Learning Outcomes to achieve competencies required for occupational therapy practice. Provides access to students through posted office hours, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods, serve on internal and external committees for the College and the community at large. Work with Workforce and Community Development department to develop workforce solutions within the area of Civil and Construction Engineering.

Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.Adjunct faculty are hired in a part-time capacity on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon the needs of the System. We offer day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.
