Oversees the internal HILR fundraising campaign, collaborating as needed with DCE Advancement, and ensuring compliance with Harvard guidelines.&nbsp;Strategic Outreach and Marketing 
Works in partnership with DCE Marketing and FAS Communications to attract new applicants and raise awareness of HILR. They will work in close collaboration with the Executive Director, Managing Attorney on this project, Fellows, and student Research Assistants and collaborate with the Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic at HLS.&nbsp;&nbsp;As a Staff Attorney, you will:<ul><li>Work with the EELP team to develop and implement EELP’s strategy focused on administrative law doctrines and evolving federal policies&nbsp;</li><li>Track and analyze emerging issues in administrative law at the federal level and in scholarship&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare legal analyses that support the implementation of EELP’s administrative law strategy&nbsp;</li><li>In conjunction with the Executive Director, Faculty, Managing Attorney, and Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic help support the recently launched moot court&nbsp;</li><li>Represent EELP in partnerships with other academic institutions, think tanks, and NGOs&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to ongoing EELP projects, including tracking and analyzing federal and state environmental, energy, and climate regulation and initiatives</li></ul> Qualifications Basic Qualifications:Candidates must have earned a J.D. at least three years ago, have at least three years of relevant experience, and be admitted to a state bar.&nbsp;&nbsp;Additional Qualifications and Skills:We are looking for people who have:&nbsp;<ul><li>Superior research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and exercise judgment and discretion</li><li>Extensive familiarity with a wide range of environmental statutes and case law and appellate litigation experience&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial, self-motivated environment&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborative, team-oriented approach with experience of managing a team of attorneys and projects&nbsp;</li></ul> Additional Information Term Appointment:&nbsp;This is a one-year term appointment with potential for renewal subject to funding and departmental need.Standard Schedule:&nbsp;Full TimeVisa Sponsorship Information: Harvard University is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this positionPre-Employment Screening: Education, Identity, License/Cert.Other Information:Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
