The curriculum in both programs is grounded in systemic, relational, anti-racist, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed perspectives. Our courses are delivered online, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous requirements. In addition, we have required residential conferences two times a year in California. We are a highly collaborative department, with unique and highly engaged students.Saybrook offers a unique hybrid residential/online counseling program. Therefore, applicants do not need to be from the West Coast but must be able to travel to California for one-week Residential Learning Experience twice a year. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.Adjunct faculty are hired in a part-time capacity on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon the needs of the System. We offer day, evening, and weekend classes. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.
