The role will be responsible for the following:
Under the supervision of the Program Director and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes, providing quality instruction for student learning and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Classes are taught in a variety of formats (virtual, online, hybrid, on-ground). Responsibilities for Adjunct Instructors include conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintain records of attendance, evaluate student performance on assignments or lab activities, assign midterm grades, assign final grades, utilize faculty feedback, complete mandatory training as needed, and perform other duties as assigned. Beyond teaching responsibilities, Adjunct Instructors are also obligated to comply and support college policies as set forth in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.

Pushing ultrasound equipment on wheels; driving an automobile for travel to clinical.WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS: <ul><li>Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment, and any specialized equipment standard within the discipline/industry (ultrasound equipment)</li><li>Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position</li><li>Work is performed in a climate-controlled classroom and/or lab environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards; hospital/clinical facilities (clinical visits)</li><li>Travel to clinical sites</li><li>Hours will vary depending on class time; Instructors are required to meet with classes at all scheduled times and be available to students outside of class instruction</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Associate's degree or higher, minimum of 3 years nonteaching work experience in the field, and appropriate credentials to teach in the learning concentration.
