The Disability Resource Accommodations Coordinator will provide academic accommodations and support for qualified students with disabilities from intake through graduation, transfer or incomplete process within the office of Disability Resources.
This position is based at the Williamson Campus in Franklin, TN with support to other campuses when needed.

Essential Functions:
<ol>
<li>Meet with prospective students with disabilities and their families to explain the range of services offered through the DRC, detail the process for registering for accommodation support, and provide guidance in obtaining appropriate documentation of disability</li>
<li>Review and interpret psychological, medical or educational data to determine student eligibility for accommodations and engage in an interactive process involving students, faculty and staff to identify barriers in the educational environment and appropriate accommodations to remove those barriers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Meet with students to clarify problem situations and assist in resolving such situations through academic coaching, facilitating communication with faculty and staff, directing students to campus policies and procedures, and referring students to campus and community resources as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain relationships with other educational and governmental agencies that accept or provide referrals, specifically building relationships with area high schools to strengthen referral processes from high school graduation to college entrance.&nbsp; Coordinator also represents the DRC at area high school and transition fairs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain timely case management utilizing the DRC’s online accommodation management system.</li>
<li>Regularly engage in professional development activities to gain further knowledge and expertise in the field of disability services and higher education.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Assist in coordinating and implementing disability-awareness events across all 5 campuses each semester.</li>
<li>Assist in training faculty and staff on matters of disability and accommodation.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate and support the testing center with proctoring and assistive technological needs as needed.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Provide specialized accommodation testing not provided by the testing center.</li>
<li>Assist in securing specialized accommodation needs and technologies to ensure equal access such as braille and interpreter services.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Inventory ADA equipment, devices, software and furniture on the Williamson campus.</li>
<li>Collaborate with offices across campus to support student success, specifically financial aid and records</li>
<li>Support development, oversight of programs and services that result in enrollment, progression, retention and graduation growth for the service area.</li>
<li>Assists in academic advising for students receiving DRC services.</li>

Education, Training and Experience Required:

POSITION SUMMARY To provide overall support for the operations of the Center for Workforce Development and Continuing Education on a wide variety of administrative duties, special projects and strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Creates client, instructor, vendor and professional services contracts. Prepares monthly and annual workforce reports. Maintains and updates US DOL Rapids and Appian systems. Coordinates/ supports management of WIOA program and student information. Maintains department appointment schedule, arranging meetings and interviews as necessary. Prepares routine correspondence, reports, forms and other documents and assists in assembling information for various reports and projects. Analyzes and interprets directives, policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. Performs administrative duties associated with contracts, purchasing and budgeting, including managing contracts, entering requisitions, corresponding with vendors regarding invoices and tracking budget line items. Maintains and updates Workforce Training Program Offerings (ex: Courses, Schedules), Student Information, and Training Provider Information within the Workforce Training Registration System and alerts Workforce leadership of issues with Programs and/or other data within the Workforce Training Registration System. Maintains a record system for all current and expired contracts for the Center for Workforce Development &amp; Continuing Education, including tracking renewal and expiration dates for action. Assists with the department’s audit process to provide contractual commitments to auditors, as needed. Develops and maintains a variety of records, using both manual and electronic filing systems. Provides administrative support to workforce instructors and team members, including assisting with scheduling, document preparation, and logistical coordination as needed. Supports the creation of presentations by compiling data, organizing content, and formatting materials for workforce initiatives.

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro is accepting applications for a full-time Evening Information Technology instructor to be located at the Smyrna Campus in Smyrna, Tennessee.
This position is responsible for providing individualized classroom and lab instruction to high school and adult students in all phases of the Information Technology Program. The Information Technology faculty member shall be directly responsible to the Department of Instruction &amp; Accreditation. The instructor works 37.5 hours per week. The class schedule is 3:30pm – 9:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
