This position administers various types of anesthetics according to established medical practices and as directed by the Anesthesiologist. The APN monitors and supports life functions during the peri-operative period and recognizes and reports any abnormal patient responses to the Anesthesiologist. It is responsibility of this position to document all patient activities accurately into the medical record. Patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner, managing and utilizing resources optimally. The Advanced Practice Nurse Anesthesia, works collaboratively with physicians, management and staff to improve clinical outcomes and to meet customers' expectations. Description POSITION SUMMARY The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care and support within the ambulatory setting.
