Job Summary: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton is accepting applications for a Practical Nursing Associate Instructor at its main campus. The position is grant-funded, responsible for providing instruction and supervision for Practical Nursing students, with a primary focus on high school dual-enrollment learners participating in an accelerated healthcare career pathway program. Working in partnership with Ballad Health, this role delivers classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction; supports student skill development; and ensures a positive, professional learning environment. The instructor maintains accurate records, assists with program development and recruitment, and models the professional standards expected in the nursing field. This position is funded through December 31, 2026, with continuation dependent upon available grant funding. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.</li>
<li>Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Tennessee.</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of RN experience within the last five (5) years, OR</li>
<li>two (2) years of RN experience within the last five (5) years plus 24 credit hours toward a higher nursing degree.</li>
<li>Prior teaching experience or evidence of teaching ability preferred.</li>
<li>Must meet all requirements established by clinical sites (subject to change at the discretion of the clinical sites).</li>

WORK SCHEDULE:

SALARY RANGE:

Adjunct Nursing Instructor
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Elizabethton is accepting applications for the part-time position of Adjunct Instructor in Practical Nursing with rotating campuses, Kingsport, Boones Creek, and Elizabethton. The adjunct practical nursing instructor, under the direction of the Director of Clinical Education along with the PN faculty, shall be responsible for assisting in planning, developing, initiating, and teaching the approved instructional program for practical nursing students in both the classroom and clinical setting.&nbsp;In addition, the adjunct practical nursing instructor shall maintain appropriate program and student records for documentation and evaluation; provide individual evaluation of each student’s progress with counseling and appropriate recommendations when required; supervise students’ clinical experiences as scheduled; and maintain good public relations with clinical partners.&nbsp;The adjunct instructor will also assist with student placement and student follow-up; participate in recruitment of students; cooperate with outside agencies; work with program advisory committees; conduct visits to business and industry; and establish and maintain good public relations within the college’s service area.&nbsp;Some travel is required.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Plant Operations, the Assistant Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance is responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance operations and supervising maintenance employees across multiple campuses. The Assistant Director will maintain and update the automated preventive maintenance (PM) program and use the software to generate and assign scheduled PM work orders. The Assistant Director will also assign and coordinate the completion of unscheduled work orders as they are received. The Assistant Director will work cooperatively with all constituents of the college in all preventive and routine maintenance work, including the work of outside contractors.

• Supervise maintenance staff on the Blountville and Kingsport campuses • Manage and maintain the automated preventive maintenance (PM) program, including inventory of equipment in all facilities • Generate, assign, and schedule PM and unscheduled work orders for all campuses • Manage, coordinate, and direct all phases of in-house construction after design phases, including the work of sub-contracted trades and the coordination of work with all NeSCC constituents • Prepare bid documents and specifications to solicit bids for facilities maintenance work • Maintain inventory of routine maintenance stock items such as filters, belts, lamps, ballasts, etc. • Assist the Director in all aspects of Plant Operations • Complete other assignments as directed by supervision

LEAD Center Assistants report to the Assistant Director of Strategy and Innovation for Access and Leadership Enrichment (SIALE) and contribute to the positive, continuously innovating culture of Northeast State Community College. LEAD Center Assistants collaborate with SIALE employees and other NeSCC teams to contribute to the daily operations, special events, and student success initiatives from the Center for Leadership, Enrichment, Access, and Discovery.
Job Duties
• During working hours, exhibit high levels of vibrancy and authenticity to promote a culture of belonging and respect in the LEAD Center.
• Support peers and help them tap into campus resources and opportunities for their personal growth and success.
• Serve as the primary resource for colleagues, staff, and guests throughout your designated shift.
• In partnership with the Office of Institutional Advancement and Culture, contribute your creativity and distinct perspective to aid in the development of exceptional events and programming that foster a sense of community on campus.
• Be a ‘campus influencer’ by recruiting peers to join in on activities and programming hosted by the LEAD Center.
• Increase awareness of the LEAD Center among campus students, employees, prospective students, and the local community using both virtual and in-person methods.
• Keep the LEAD Center looking fresh and inviting.
• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications
• Currently enrolled Northeast State student • Customer service experience 
Preferred Qualifications
• Completion of at least one full-time semester of college at Northeast State or other accredited institution with at least a 2.5 GPA or previous Northeast State student • Previous mentoring, advising, or tutoring experience • Conversational ability or fluency in a second language

Job Summary
