In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.&nbsp;The purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor’s role is to oversee the maintenance department responsible for all equipment, property, buildings and facilities within a manufacturing plant.&nbsp; The incumbent in this position will also be responsible for supervising maintenance personnel and supporting the operations of production, engineering and safety departments.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Your Day to Day:<ul><li>Act as technical expert in regards to mechanical equipment</li><li>Supervise, set direction, and delegate daily work of assigned hourly mechanical and electrical employees to support the plant goals of safety, environmental and production</li><li>Lead safety process, training for crews and accident investigations&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor safety and environmental processes and compliance</li><li>Identify, isolate and facilitate resolution of maintenance performance issues such as quality of work and work efficiency</li><li>Troubleshoot process equipment operational problems and maintain, repair, and upgrade plant equipment</li><li>Identify and execute ways to track metrics of performance and improve production levels of employees</li><li>Share knowledge and business experience with Plant management team</li><li>Manage projects including obtaining contractor quotes, design help and directing contractor crews</li><li>Facilitate training of maintenance personnel</li><li>Identify, implement, and maintain best maintenance and safety practices</li><li>Conduct daily and monthly shift meetings</li><li>Maintain and enforce good housekeeping strategies and methodologies</li><li>Oversee the maintenance scheduling and work order system</li><li>Manage the maintenance and operations of the mobile equipment fleet and storeroom inventory</li><li>Manage hourly time and attendance process&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with MRO purchasing issues through maintenance software&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>May be required to perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>What You Bring to the Team:<ul><li>High School/Technical School diploma with a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience in a mechanical and/or electrical maintenance role</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing an industrial maintenance hourly workforce</li><li>Experience in preventative and predictive maintenance with demonstrated success in increasing equipment reliability</li><li>Working knowledge of plant systems with the ability to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions</li><li>Solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, air compressor systems, cutting/welding techniques, fluid dynamic systems, and metal fabrication&nbsp;</li><li>General knowledge of mobile equipment repair, A/C and chiller systems and hydraulics</li><li>Thorough knowledge of high, medium and low voltage systems/control systems and instrumentation, and general industrial electrical</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook</li><li>Working knowledge in AutoCAD drawing interpretation&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP systems preferred</li><li>Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li><li>Solid project management and presentation skills&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills</li><li>Solid analytical and quality improvement ability</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally</li><li>Fundamental knowledge of laws, codes, and regulations (OSHA, National Electric Code, etc.) (Basic)</li><li>Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside normal work schedule</li><li>Manages a staff of 1 salary employee and 34 hourly employees, sets direction and deploys resources.
