The Director of Grants and Strategic Resource Development is responsible for identifying and securing grants to support operations, new and existing academic programs, and capital projects, as well as monitoring/managing new and select existing grants the College has received. The individual reports to the Vice President of External Affairs. The Director of Grants and Strategic Resource Development is expected to work collaboratively with the executive leadership team, ensuring that grant opportunities align with the College’s Mission, Strategic Plan, and operational and capital needs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
<ol>
<li>Identify grant opportunities, write, and prepare grant proposals and submit to secure external funding (public and private) to align with capital, programmatic, and operational needs that support the college's mission and institutional priorities.</li>
<li>Convene and regularly hold planning meetings with key College personnel to identify and update the capital and operational needs and priorities.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with faculty, chairs, program directors, the finance team, and executive leadership to meet the needs of students, faculty and staff, and the communities the college serves.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Inform the College community about grant opportunities, awards, and related funding possibilities, and offer grant seminars for interested faculty and staff.</li>
<li>Maintain an inventory of grants awarded to the College and report periodically to the Vice President of External Affairs, including funding agency contact information, reporting requirements, timelines, and other relevant information.</li>
<li>Become familiar with and incorporate the use of grant research tools to promote the internal grants process.</li>
<li>Coordinate, monitor, and manage new and select existing grants, including fiscal records, budgets, and budget amendments, compliance dates, and required reports.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure that all post-award activities are completed and compliant, including financial oversight, reporting, deliverables, and the close-out process.</li>
<li>Work with appropriate College personnel (e.g., Comptroller and Director of Administrative Services) to ensure regulation compliance and monitor financial records, contracts, reports, billing, and audits related to grants received by the College.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop a database containing information on grant and other funding opportunities available, applied for, and outcomes.</li>
<li>Review the College’s current grant workflow process and make recommendations for improvement.</li>
<li>Engage with other fundraising activities as requested by the Vice President of External Affairs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Serve on College committees and participate in shared governance.</li>
<li>Develop with the supervisor and maintain a professional growth plan.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of External Affairs.&nbsp;</li>

Principal Performance Requirements:

<li>Identify and coordinate the grants needed to support the college's operational and capital objectives, including at the department/program level.&nbsp;</li>

The Assistant Director of Workforce Development supports the strategic mission of the Workforce Development Department and reports to the External Affairs Division. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development maintains knowledge of regional labor market trends, employer needs, and regional funding priorities to develop and deliver high-quality, relevant training programs. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development provides leadership to the Workforce Training and Development Division and collaborates in providing access to new and expanded workforce training opportunities and designing and delivering comprehensive pathways to employment. This includes but is not limited to (1) personnel management, (2) assisting with budget management, (3) class planning and scheduling, (4) internal and external reporting, (5) data management, and (6) employer relations. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development meets with new and existing businesses and industry leaders with the goal of identifying the need for new programs and new workforce training opportunities, as well as establishing new business and industry partnerships. A key role of this position is staying abreast of emerging and new industries in the region by collaborating with Economic Development Organizations and local and regional government entities. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director of Workforce Development is responsible for articulating the mission of the Dyersburg State Community College Workforce Development department to prospective students and businesses in various settings, including information sessions, industry meetings, etc. This position cooperates with internal and external constituents in a broad context of operations and planning. This position is responsible for short-term, non-credit programs and project management of those said programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>This position oversees multiple workforce development programs across multiple college locations, with travel required as appropriate.</li>
<li>Collaborates regularly with local and regional Economic Development Organizations and the Vice President of External Affairs to identify opportunities for developing new or customized training programs.</li>

      Assistant Director for Workforce Development
    

The Advisor is a staff position designed to provide holistic advising and support services to ensure student retention and success. Advisors report to the Director of Advising and collaborate with other advisors, recruiters, administrative staff, and faculty to oversee the college’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of the students.

      Advisor
    

This regular, twelve-month, part-time (85%) position is responsible for assisting the Head Baseball Coach with organizing and coaching the baseball team and assisting the college with student and community engagement opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with the supervision of practices and games.
Provides instruction to student-athletes as directed by the head baseball coach.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Actively encourages academic success and degree completion among student athletes. Monitors study hall attendance and faculty progress reports for student-athletes.
Assist with the transport of athletic teams to and from games and tournaments.
Assists with the supervision of team activities.
Assists with equipment inventory and maintenance.
Assists with field maintenance and preparation.
Assists in coordinating fundraising activities following state and DSCC policies.
Participate in the annual athletic awards program.
Assists in maintaining program compliance with NJCAA and TCCAA eligibility criteria and reporting as requested by the head baseball coach.
Serves as the website content manager for baseball.
Assist with student-athlete recruitment and retention under the direction of the head baseball coach. &nbsp;
Plan and execute a yearly youth baseball camp fundraiser in the summer. Work with the college public relations department each spring to plan appropriate and timely promotion of the camp.

This is a full-time, academic year, term contract in Computer Information Technology. The position reports to the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach 30 hours (TLE) per academic year in Computer Information Technology, including networking, security, and operating systems, with a focus on CCNA certification preparation. The courses may be delivered using a variety of methods including traditional, online, hybrid and/or two/three-way technology.
• Serve as the Computer Information Technology Program Coordinator.
• Manage and maintain the advisory committee for the program.
• Maintain CIT – Networking programmatic accreditation.
• Promote and assist with DSCC’s eSports team.
