The YMCA of Central Kentucky is seeking energetic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our School Age Child Care team as After School Group Leaders.
- Assist the school age child care site director in the implementation of a culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Assume responsibility for the safety of the children at all times and maintain daily records, adhering to all requirements
- Uphold the association’s child protection policies, child abuse and neglect guidelines and proper reporting procedures
- Attend all staff meetings and in-service training as required by the YMCA and the Division of Regulated Child Care (DRCC)
- Prepare daily snack for the children and support and implement healthy eating and physical activity initiatives (HEPA)
- Direct and assist daily cleaning and maintenance of the space and/or facility
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
