We’re bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world – for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share.The Wealth Relationship Manager (WRM) works closely with the Wealth Relationship Officer (WRO) and the service teams to build meaningful relationships with high value clients.&nbsp; Professionalism client focus, and understanding of the fundamentals of wealth planning will be key as the WRM acquires, develops, advises, and retains a portfolio of clients.As the Wealth Relationship Manager, you will:<ul><li>Build deep, long-lasting and mutually valuable relationships in which you will provide financial solutions and opportunities to your portfolio of clients</li><li>Maintain the highest standard of excellence in developing strategies to increase wallet share of existing clients and identifying product opportunities within the business through regularly collecting, updating and analyzing client financials</li><li>Conduct full needs assessments with current and potential wealth customers and recommend appropriate banking, investment and insurance products and services to meet individual needs, based on objectives, risk tolerance and proper asset allocations</li><li>Represent the company in community organizations and activities to enhance the Company's image and maintain and grow a referral network for additional relationship opportunities while maintaining an active prospect pipeline</li><li>Help with business development through existing relationships and COI’s (certificate of insurance) will also be expected&nbsp;</li></ul>For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.At HSBC, our overall goal is to provide a competitive Total Reward Package, with an appropriate mix of fixed pay, and variable pay, as part of an employee’s overall total compensation and benefits. Requirements You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:<ul><li>Meaningful experience in nontraditional banking financial sales, providing client recommendations and increasing sales, and building and maintaining valuable relationships with high-net-worth client portfolios</li><li>Expert knowledge in wealth planning and wealth products, the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments, and of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management</li><li>Strong client focus and ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills</li><li>Ability to demonstrate strong relationship deepening skills with existing client base to build and grow relationships and develop referral sources</li><li>Strong business development skills to work with outside COI’s to develop self-sourced business</li><li>Self-Motivated and Self-driven individual with strong relationship and communications skills</li><li>Good understanding of how to work with Compliance, Credit &amp; Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment</li><li>Series 7, 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65), California Life and Health insurance licenses required</li><li>Foreign language skills, such as Mandarin and/or Cantonese are required</li></ul>In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
