Title: Temporary - Police Officer (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs a variety of police duties such as patrolling the assigned area(s) to detect/deter crime and arrest violators to ensure security and safety people and property.

For classroom scribes, types lecture notes and/or responses as dictated by the student for in-class activities. Provides the student with an accurate and full account lecture content and ensures notes are clear and comprehensive. This may include written descriptions of visual information. Consistently attends lectures, as assigned, and provides electronic copies of notes per departmental process.
For testing scribes where grammar and spelling are not being assessed, writes or types exactly what a student dictates without substituting words. POSITION SUMMARY Nashville State Community College (NSCC) is seeking a qualified CDL Driver to operate a mobile classroom for its Workforce and Community Development programs and support NSCC students and initiatives. This mobile classroom may travel to all seven NSCC campuses, as well as to other community and industry locations. The CDL Driver/Operator will play a critical role in supporting the College's mission to provide accessible education and training opportunities by ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the mobile classroom.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a mobile classroom vehicle to designated locations, including NSCC campuses and community/industry partner sites. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition. Coordinate with program staff to plan routes and schedules. Set up and secure the mobile classroom at each site, ensuring a safe and functional environment for participants. Perform light maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent
