Job Summary: The purpose of this position to provide comprehensive support in admissions, registration, financial aid, and advising for non-degree seeking students. Essential Functions:
55% Serve as the initial customer service contact for Student Services.
<ul>
<li>Assist students/parents with all onboarding/enrollment questions. Assess student needs and provide direct assistance to students in helping them apply to Pellissippi State, enroll in classes, collect documents, apply for funding and help them understand the appropriate forms, processes, and procesdures for all areas of Enrollment Services.</li>
<li>Provide individual assistance to students including but not limited to analyzing and troubleshooting individual needs and assisting with on-line self-service accounts (view/change their personal information, apply for financial aid: FAFSA, state aid and scholarship applications, complete needed requirements).</li>
<li>Provide information to students, parents, staff, and general public regarding all enrollment and financial aid questions and/or requirements, including but not limited to MyPellissippi navigation, transcripts, payments, advising, testing, orientation, secure document upload, alerts and general information about the college and events in person, via telephone, email, US mail, and on-line using extensive knowledge of FERPA, College policy, State, and Federal Regulations.</li>
<li>Collect, scan, download and notate completed financial aid documents via various forms of electronic or non-electronic submission.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work with each student holistically to create social belonging, build rapport and establish the Start Strong mentality to increase student success and retention.</li>

5%&nbsp; Function as a critical link or liason between customers and PSCC by making referrals to student affairs, academic divisions, counselors, advisors, instructional staff and other PSCC staff members when needed.
10% Participate in scheduled phone and chat shifts and monitor phone queue during peak times to assist as needed. Respond to Start Strong emails, including those regarding specific financial aid, admissions, records and cashiering questions.
10% Participate in on-going training/professional development in the following areas; admissions, registration, financial aid, student account services and advising.
10% Utilize applicable software programs/websites such as but not limited to: MyPellissippi, Banner (INB and SSB), Argos, BDMS, FAST, ETC, Studentaid.gov, TSAC portal, TNReconnect.gov, etc…and provide guidance to students/parents on how to navigate the applicable websites and assist students with accessing account information including, but not limited to: interpreting registration holds, providing prerequisite overrides, uploading secure documents, and clarifying financial aid and admissions requirements.&nbsp;
10% Other duties as assigned to support the Blount Campus and Start Strong Center.

Physical Demands: This position requires that an employee be able to stand and sit for lengths of 30 minutes or more. During peak times, June, July and August employees may be on their feet for the duration of their shift (7.5 hours) without much time to sit between students.&nbsp;
Hazards: Employees could develop wrist or hand issues from typing and using a computer. Employees could develop some lower back, neck and shoulder pain from constantly standing and sitting. Additionally, employees are standing on concrete a large part of their day so may develop foot, knee or back pain and swelling. POSITION SUMMARY This position represents the college to potential students and their families, secondary schools and their respective officials, post-secondary institutions and their respective officials and the community at large. The main emphasis of this position is to build relationships with prospective Nashville State Community College students and to assist and advise them through the enrollment process, including career advising.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide student-centered service and advising to prospective students and their families regarding the college, academic offerings, career choice, admission procedures and financial aid options. This includes assisting applicants through the application, career development and financial aid process. Develop, coordinate and expand activities related to New Student Orientation and other student on-boarding communications and services. Collaborate to develop, refine, deliver and evaluate orientation for new students, including the development of new recruitment programs for transfer and non-traditional students.
Manage ongoing effective and strategic communication with prospective students and applicants via letters, telephone calls, personal visits, electronic and social networking mediums, etc. regarding college information, course programs, resources, career options and the enrollment process.       Student Services Specialist III, North Davidson
    

The Assistant Director of Workforce Development supports the strategic mission of the Workforce Development Department and reports to the External Affairs Division. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development maintains knowledge of regional labor market trends, employer needs, and regional funding priorities to develop and deliver high-quality, relevant training programs. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development provides leadership to the Workforce Training and Development Division and collaborates in providing access to new and expanded workforce training opportunities and designing and delivering comprehensive pathways to employment. This includes but is not limited to (1) personnel management, (2) assisting with budget management, (3) class planning and scheduling, (4) internal and external reporting, (5) data management, and (6) employer relations. The Assistant Director of Workforce Development meets with new and existing businesses and industry leaders with the goal of identifying the need for new programs and new workforce training opportunities, as well as establishing new business and industry partnerships. A key role of this position is staying abreast of emerging and new industries in the region by collaborating with Economic Development Organizations and local and regional government entities. This candidate must also know, or obtain knowledge of, programmatic accreditation/certification to develop and execute a training program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director of Workforce Development is responsible for articulating the mission of the Dyersburg State Community College Workforce Development department to prospective students and businesses in various settings, including information sessions, industry meetings, etc. This position cooperates with internal and external constituents in a broad context of operations and planning. This position is responsible for short-term, non-credit programs and project management of those said programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>This position oversees multiple workforce development programs across multiple college locations, with travel required as appropriate.</li>

The Director of Grants and Strategic Resource Development is responsible for identifying and securing grants to support operations, new and existing academic programs, and capital projects, as well as monitoring/managing new and select existing grants the College has received. The individual reports to the Vice President of External Affairs. The Director of Grants and Strategic Resource Development is expected to work collaboratively with the executive leadership team, ensuring that grant opportunities align with the College’s Mission, Strategic Plan, and operational and capital needs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Identify grant opportunities, write, and prepare grant proposals and submit to secure external funding (public and private) to align with capital, programmatic, and operational needs that support the college's mission and institutional priorities.</li>
