Job Description:Founded in 1979, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is an independent professional school with a dynamic student body and professionally accomplished faculty. Our curriculum and training opportunities prepare graduates to deliver outstanding professional services emphasizing the ability to understand and work with diverse populations.Position Summary:Our Southern California campuses are seeking a part-time licensed clinical psychologist whose primary responsibility will be to provide individual supervision to practicum students.&nbsp; Supervisors will be required to meet with their assigned supervisee a minimum of one hour/week and provide clinical supervision regarding the student’s clinical work at their practicum site.&nbsp; The supervisor will report to the Campus Director of the Office of Placement and Training for the Southern California Campuses.&nbsp;Principal Duties:<ul><li>Meet with students (supervisees) at least one hour per week (not to exceed two hours/week)</li><li>Review student clinical notes and testing reports and provide feedback to the student</li><li>Support students in developing their professional identity and clinical skills</li><li>Provide students with assistance regarding the selection, administration, and scoring of assessment tools</li><li>Support students in understanding the importance of ethics in clinical practice and identifying any potential ethical concerns</li><li>Integrate diversity in the assessment, conceptualization, and treatment of clients</li><li>Support students in writing well-organized and clear psychological reports</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to client information</li><li>Behave in a collegial and professional manner with all members of TCSPP community and adhere to the highest professional conduct and ethical standards</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Position Qualifications:<ul><li>A doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program</li><li>Must be a licensed psychologist</li><li>Experience supervising doctoral-level students in a clinical setting</li><li>Experience with psychological testing and report writing</li><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills</li></ul>For more information about The Chicago School of Professional Psychology visit <a href="http://www.thechicagoschool.edu" target="_blank">www.thechicagoschool.edu</a>.The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is an affiliate of TCS Education System.
