This role is responsible for managing capital and maintenance budgets, driving equipment reliability and productivity improvements, and overseeing the Maintenance department. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and compliance.Your Day to Day:Maintenance &amp; Reliability<ul><li>Lead the Asset Care Reliability Program to drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.</li><li>Manage and staff the Maintenance Department, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.</li><li>Oversee the procurement and inventory of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials.</li></ul>Capital Projects &amp; Budgeting<ul><li>Develop and manage the facility’s Capex program, including long-term planning, budgeting, and monthly reporting.</li><li>Lead capital project execution from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.</li></ul>Productivity &amp; Process Improvement<ul><li>Support and implement productivity initiatives across the plant to enhance operational efficiency.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve complex engineering and operational challenges.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.</li><li>Manage plant energy programs to optimize usage and reduce costs.</li></ul>Strategic Planning &amp; Leadership<ul><li>Collaborate with the Plant Leadership Team to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.</li><li>Participate in strategic planning and present STRAP (Strategic Planning) initiatives to senior leadership.</li><li>May oversee and coordinate Information Technology activities within the facility.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Communication<ul><li>Monitor, control, and report on maintenance and facility spend.</li><li>Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, internally and externally.</li></ul> What You Bring to the Team:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing/project engineering experience and 2 years of work experience in a leadership role</li><li>Working knowledge/understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance Module, SAP Project Systems Module, and SAP Procure to Pay Module</li><li>Thorough knowledge of environmental and safety Local/State/Federal rules/regulations</li><li>Strong leadership skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook</li><li>Proven problem-solving abilities</li><li>Proven analytical and quality improvement ability</li><li>Ability to understand business principles</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally</li><li>Manages a staff of 6-8 hourly employees, sets direction, and deploys resources.
