Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro is accepting applications for a full – time staff position as a Student Services Specialist. This full-time position entails a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week, in person, managing a wide range of student and administrative responsibilities throughout the academic year. Job Duties

<li>Administer and manage the Enrollment Survey each academic term, ensuring accurate and timely completion.</li>
<li>Review all Cooperative Education (Co-Op) paperwork for completeness and accuracy, secure necessary signatures, log and file documentation, and return finalized copies to instructors.</li>
<li>Prepare attendance appeal packets, meet with students to explain the process, present appeal documentation to the committee, communicate decisions to students, and coordinate any follow-up actions.</li>
<li>Review and process Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) paperwork according to institutional guidelines and timelines.</li>
<li>Process and maintain student exit records each term, ensuring all documentation is up to date and properly filed.</li>
<li>Assist with student-focused events such as National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) ceremonies, Ready to Walk, and other events as assigned.</li>
<li>Serve as the lead for New Student Orientation, including planning, coordination, and facilitation of sessions.</li>
<li>Conduct student evaluations each term and compile feedback for program and institutional improvement.</li>
<li>Perform roster checks at the start of each term and report findings to the Student Services Coordinator.</li>
<li>Maintain a clear and current understanding of all programs offered at TCAT Murfreesboro to accurately support and guide students.</li>
<li>Assist with the maintenance and use of the TCAT recruitment bus; collaborate with departments to support recruitment initiatives.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Murfreesboro is accepting applications for a Workforce Specialist. This full-time position entails a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week, in person, developing and implementing workforce and apprenticeship programs tailored to our partners' needs. The Specialist will collaborate with employers and community partners to identify training requirements, develop curricula, and establish specialized training initiatives, while also assisting in securing grant opportunities. The workforce Specialist directly reports to the Vice President of Instruction and Accreditation.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Make weekly in-person sales calls with employers and community partners to identify and promote workforce and apprenticeship training opportunities.</li>
<li>Conduct needs assessments for workforce and apprenticeship programs at employers and community partners.</li>
<li>Collaborate with industry and community partners to develop and implement workforce and apprenticeship training programs.</li>
<li>Track and record the progress of apprentices and workforce training programs.</li>
<li>Evaluate the effectiveness of workforce and apprenticeship programs and coordinate adjustments to meet any identified needs.</li>
<li>Maintain workforce and apprenticeship records and prepare reports.</li>
<li>Coordinate with various departments, faculty, and program areas to secure instructors and suitable training spaces for workforce and apprenticeship training opportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Assist the Special Industry Coordinator in preparing reports for workforce and apprenticeship programs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a list of adjunct instructors for workforce training opportunities.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
