Title: HVAC Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the of the Manager of Facilities, the HVAC supervisor performs skilled trade-level (journeyman) repair and maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation and air handling equipment. Required to install, maintain and repair electric, electronic and pneumatic controls systems with their supporting machinery, heating/air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems that incorporate pneumatic, digital, and central energy management system controls. Performs data entry and routine logging in the computerized controls management system (CCMS). Supervise HVAC mechanics in the proper protocols and repair procedures. Troubleshooting and repairing building control systems; optimizing controls and equipment for better usage by owner.

Assists with construction projects affecting HVAC equipment or systems. Repair or replace low- and high-pressure liquid lines. Assembling and installing metal ductwork. Develop heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system modification plans. Create and maintain preventive maintenance checklists for equipment. Perform weekly site inspections and prepare a weekly status report for the Manager Facilities.
Inventory and catalogue HVAC systems by building/campus (including equipment type, manufacturer, serial number, capacity, and date of manufacture/install). Interprets as-built building blueprints and recommends system modifications. Researches and proposes materials for HVAC systems repair, and maintenance. Perform testing HVAC and Refrigeration for efficiency. Repairs and replaces defective equipment, components or wiring. Installs, connects and adjusts thermostats, humidistats and timers. Braze or solder parts to repair defective joints and leaks. Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming. Maintains campus air handling equipment, chillers and ice machines.

Universal EPA Certification
Journeyman level HVAC licensure
Five (5) years of experience in HVCR repair and maintenance for large building application or commercial HVAC equipment and systems

The Sergeant serves as first line supervisor, under the direction of the Chief of Campus Police. This position supervises the activity of police and security officers, reviews reports, and directs activities of assigned personnel. Additionally, this position responds to the scene of any significant incident to coordinate subordinate staff performance, as well as coordinate enforcement efforts with other law enforcement agencies. Provides patrol and investigative services; enforces the state, local and federal laws; and provides security and enforcement services that promote and maintain a safe campus. Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age. Three years of experience as a police officer with a satisfactory service rating by a superior. Graduate of an accredited, approved police academy and be a certified police officer meeting all the requirements for P.O.S.T certification in Tennessee. Meet the requirements of TCA 38-8-106 and TCA 38-8-107 Qualifications of Police Officers. Out-of-state applicants are required to meet Tennessee P.O.S.T certification requirements within six (6) months of hire. Prior law enforcement experience as a full-time certified officer must be within the past three (3) years. Must have not been convicted of or pleaded guilty to or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor, or controlled substances. Pay Rate: $49,184 - $59,020 annual salary depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in&nbsp;Administrative Professional Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
