Job Summary
Adjunct, part-time, instructional position in the Practical Nursing department located on the main campus in Huntsville, TN. Instructor will work under the direction of the Coordinator of Practical Nursing and Allied Health along with Practical Nursing and Allied Health faculty. A high standard of personal and professional ethics with a sincere interest in teaching and nursing is desired.
Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Nursing with active license in Tennessee as a Registered Nurse (RN) Three (3) years’ clinical nursing experience in a hospital and/or long-term nursing facility
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Teaching experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective teacher. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to remain current through continued education in the occupation to be taught. Potential ability in instruction. Strong, moral character, mature attitude, and stable personality. Networking skills with ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, related business, and industry. Time management skills; ability to meet deadlines. Self-starter; ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, stand and walk, with or without accommodation, to demonstrate and perform all work-based projects.
Salary:&nbsp; Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.

Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida is seeking individuals, in the absence of full-time instructors, to monitor groups of students in an assigned technical college program, record attendance, direct group activities as assigned, provide instructional support to students, distribute and collect daily assignments. A knowledge of the program/industry is preferred but not required; instructors will be placed on a Substitute Instructor list and will be called as needed. Substitutes may request to serve in specific programs or will be asked to serve in programs where they have similar experience.
