ResponsibilitiesHowmet Aerospace is currently in search of an&nbsp;IT Business Architect – Supply Chain, to join our Global Information Services (GIS) Resource Unit at the Howmet Corporate Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The position will report into the Senior Director, Corporate Applications and be part of the Architect team that strives to provide value-add business-driven solutions, through the leverage of right technologies. This role will be capable of building strong relationships across the business, as well as serving as an advocate for technology with plant leadership.Major Activities:<ul><li>Works closely with supply chain functional leaders to create alignment between business and IT.</li><li>The business architect proactively and holistically leads and supports information technology activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology.</li><li>The IT business architect clarifies strategic intentions, identifies business outcomes, explores implications, impacts, and risks, and addresses stakeholders’ questions.</li><li>Helps business leaders and end users understand, apply, valuate, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Facilitate Enterprise Strategy Development, including opportunity identification, technology and business cases, and business innovation focused on increasing value by growing revenue, optimizing cost, and mitigating risk</li><li>Interviews and analyze business processes to move the operations and logistics organization toward realizing its strategic goals and targeted business outcomes, while considering IT investment priorities</li><li>Define strategic plan and technology and project roadmaps for leveraging integrated business architecture as part of the organization’s overall enterprise architecture</li><li>Creates actionable deliverables that demonstrate how to move the business toward realizing its strategic goals and targeted business outcomes by combining knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and business processes</li><li>Uses the organization’s existing business and operating model as the starting point for innovation, for example, by using new technologies to enable a building block</li><li>Researches and provides consultation on emerging technology trends and disruptions and competitors' practices relevant to assigned business process/functions representatives</li><li>Collaborates with and facilitates Howmet stakeholders involved in digital strategy and digital innovation to drive adoption of business process changes and new or existing technologies</li><li>Consults with subject matter experts to develop technical solutions.
