FULL-TIME FACILITIES SUPPORT ASSOCIATE 

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll is seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities Support Associate to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring that all campus facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time position with paid holidays and benefits package.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The Facilities Support Associate is to perform cleaning and grounds-keeping work as required. Working independently, but under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator and college administration, this position is responsible for maintaining the college buildings and immediate grounds and performing other duties as may be assigned.
<ul>
<li>Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of the buildings. Daily removal of inside/outside trash from all buildings, lawns, and parking lots.</li>
<li>Clean counters, sinks, floors, tables, drinking fountains, and chairs in breakroom areas.</li>
<li>Vacuum classrooms, lobbies and offices.</li>
<li>Dust mop/wet mop halls.</li>
<li>All restrooms cleaned and mopped daily.</li>
<li>Supply hand towels, toilet tissue and hand soap to restroom and shop areas daily.</li>
<li>Clean glass doors/windows as needed.</li>
</ul>
Traveling to different locations is required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, education and in accordance with the guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.

General Function:&nbsp;
The Library Associate 3 is a major provider of the library’s customer, circulation, and reference services and gives computer assistance and one-on-one instruction to library patrons as needed. May also be assigned duties in library technical services and digital resources, including, but not limited to: cataloging, classification, and processing of physical collection items; acquisition, cataloging, and maintenance of digital collection items.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>CATALOGING: Performs copy cataloging, communicates with database vendors and Integrated Library System customer service for support to resolve any discovery or cataloging issue. Recommends library purchases of digital, and print resources. Supervises the physical preparation of library materials for public use, ensuring quality and consistency. Determines the need for replacement, repair, or disposal of worn, damaged, or lost materials. Works with the director on original cataloging and making catalog and cataloging corrections. Supervises and performs ordering, tracking, and receipt of books and other materials. Maintains vendor contacts and reconciles vendor issues. <li>DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL RESOURCES:&nbsp; Manages the library's electronic resources including e-journals, research and reference databases, e-books, online multimedia databases including sound and streaming video, and other electronic document collections. Coordinates trials of new resources and vendor demonstrations as needed. Coordinates and manages the selection, acquisition, and activation of electronic resources. including preliminary license review and negotiation in consultation with the Library Director and relevant liaisons. Manages annual renewal processes Investigates and implements new/emerging acquisition models and tools for electronic resources. Investigates and compares vendor products and offers, establishes and maintains effective vendor relations, negotiates and documents license terms and pricing, and collaborates with consortia partners. Reviews and analyzes current online collections and provides recommendations for changes. Maintains awareness and engagement with emerging trends and technologies in electronic resources management, makes recommendations for improvement.</li>
<li>LIBRARY USER SERVICES: Assists and teaches students, faculty, and community users how to access and acquire physical and digital information through the library’s catalog. Supports all aspects of circulation services. Assists patrons in the use of library materials, computer databases, and library equipment.</li>
<li>LIBRARY SUPPORT SERVICES: Records daily library statistics and gate counts.
