Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Culture and maintenance of primary mammalian epithelial, endothelial and stromal cells and 3D culture systems. &nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Investigate novel target biology in primary in vitro co-culture assays, and 3D culture systems employing cell-based biochemical assays.</li><li>Learn and optimize immunofluorescence assays for analysis of stromal cells in the context of inflammation and fibrotic stimulus.</li><li>Maintain an electronic record of all experiments and resulting data.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze, compile, and present results when necessary to the appropriate forums.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Completed 2+ years of a relevant life science undergraduate degree or be enrolled in a relevant graduate level degree program that approves a co-op experience at BMS.</li><li>Graduation Date must be later than August 2026.</li></ul><ul><li>Prior relevant research experience required, preferably in mammalian tissue culture.&nbsp;Must be willing to work with primary human and mouse tissues.</li><li>Possess a high level of critical thinking, high energy, independence, a strong desire to learn new techniques, and the ability to work in a highly dynamic research organization.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Able to commit to continuous full-time employment from January-July.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.</li><li>All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment.
