<h4>Overview</h4>The Estimator is responsible for supporting the estimating team with all facets of the bidding process in order to ensure its success.<h4>Responsibilities</h4>Accurately analyze and prepare project proposals.Maintain electronic systems such as entering projects into company database.Analyze project specifications, scope statements, and all contract documents needed to create a successful proposal.Create successful relationship with manufacturer reps, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.Monitor and update documentation on the FTP site.Proactively follow-up with customers throughout the bidding process.Review pricing to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare budgets and timely submit to customers.<h4>Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities</h4>High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year of related experience; Must have the ability to read drawings; Must have excellent basic math skills and can successfully work in a team environment; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish a rapport with customers; Must be extremely detail oriented and thorough.PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position is frequently required to sit, hear, use close and peripheral vision as well as depth perception.
