GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: drawing techniques, CAD and drafting, technical drawing, additive manufacturing, civil design, mechanical design, architectural design, structural design, solid modeling, etc. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; assist in recruiting new students, and assist with graduate placement. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Monday through Friday, 2:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. All instruction is delivered in-person; this is not a remote work position. Anticipated start date March 2, 2026.
SALARY:&nbsp; $50,894-$61,074 annually ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.

Title: Instructor, Architectural Design Technology – Full-time (Temporary)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Architectural Design Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses on-ground at the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Other instructional delivery modes, such as online, hybrid or web-enhanced, taught from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location, may be assigned based on operational needs, as determined by the College. Perform job duties from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent student experiences. Utilizing the college’s learning management system, provide updated accurate and updated course materials to students. Submit updated course syllabi prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours except on weekends.
Complete all required reports such as student engagement, Early Alerts, progress reports and grade submissions. Administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Engage in departmental institutional effectiveness activities. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Serve as academic advisor to students as assigned. Comply with all college and TBR policies and guidelines.
