Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Creates accurate and detailed design drawings, diagrams, maps, and plans for utility distribution and telecommunication systems using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for routine/simple designs using correct mapping symbols, callouts, decals, and proper tie downs, using CAD, AUD, etc.</li><li>Assists with creating visualization deliverables including detailed plans, profiles, schematics, renderings, animations, and documentation to support design review and construction</li><li>Leverages specifics from geographic surveys, photogrammetry, and geospatial data into drawings and models</li><li>Completes load flow, short circuit, and power quality analyses to validate electrical system designs</li><li>Assist with work order costing, labor estimates and supplemental form completion. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Interfaces directly with engineering teams to collaborate on project scope requirements, alternatives analysis, and improvement. Perform complex designs with scaled work order maps using AUD and prepares pricing, contracts and easements using DM</li><li>Determines CAD usage and application as well as file structuring and setup on projects</li><li>Provides support in improvements in design, operation, maintenance and safety for assigned systems and equipment</li><li>Draws physical, schematic, and wiring diagrams using Substation standards and symbols. Develop single line diagrams with little or no planner assistance</li><li>Assign projects to SCE Contractors, validate labor hours, and review the quality of the deliverables</li><li>Prepare scaled work order physical, schematic, and wiring diagram using Computer Aided Design software (CAD) and/or Design Manager (DM)</li><li>Consult with Substation Engineers to prepare engineering drawings and modifications as required.
