The Substance Use Clinician works within a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical services to individuals with substance and/or alcohol use disorders as part of a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at South Shore Hospital. The IOP will provide evidence-based counseling services in group and individual settings for the treatment of substance use disorders as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. This position will also work with the clients to access community resources and work with collaterals in the community, including other behavioral health providers, PCP, and community support groups.&nbsp;JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Work with a multidisciplinary team of addiction providers, including doctors, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and recovery coaches</li><li>Assess, diagnose, and complete treatment plans for all clients. Develop treatment goals that are personally meaningful to the client, relevant to the diagnosis, and are behavioral, and measurable.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide person-centered, trauma-informed clinical services to individuals with substance use disorders in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Clinician will utilize evidence-based practices for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders, including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and harm reduction.</li><li>&nbsp;Identify appropriate community resources for patients with substance use disorders and match these patients to appropriate services. Crisis Clinician

Great opportunity exists for a Master’s level clinician to join our dedicated team of professionals in our In-Home Therapy program!&nbsp; In-Home Therapy is an intensive therapeutic intervention designed to stabilize families in crisis in order to reduce risk of inpatient hospitalization.
