REPORTS TO:&nbsp; Manager, Utilization ManagementPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The Utilization Review Nurse acts as a liaison in the coordination of resources and services to meet patients’ needs, promotes teamwork to optimize efficient and cost-effective use of health care resources, monitors the health care delivery plan to maximize positive patient outcomes, and maintains compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the policies of Professional Health Care Network. The Project on Israel in the Regional and Global Economy aims to launch and execute high-quality research projects to identify the critical elements that enable global startups to succeed and the structure of transformative reskilling efforts. In addition, the research seeks to outline policies that can promote the replicability of these efforts in other regional and international contexts. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in the startup ecosystem, innovation, and reskilling within Israel.The Project Manager reports directly to their faculty supervisor and an administrative manager in the Research Staff Services office. <dt><h4>Description</h4></dt>Part-Time Breastfeeding Peer CounselorWomen, Infants &amp; Children Program (WIC)Fayette County WIC &amp; Nutrition Center245 Booker Avenue, Suite BFayetteville, GA 30215Please Note: This position will cover multiple locations.&nbsp;Time Requirement: 20-29 Hours per week.Under general supervision, provides limited para-professional social services to clients and their families. Facilitates prenatal breastfeeding classes alongside CPA for WIC participants and provides individual breastfeeding education in the WIC clinic as needed. Provides on-going breastfeeding education and/or counseling to WIC pregnant and breastfeeding mothers by telephone and/or hospital visits at scheduled intervals as determined by the local WIC program. Gives basic breastfeeding information and support to new mothers, including education on the benefits of breastfeeding, overcoming common barriers to breastfeeding, and how to start breastfeeding successfully. Uses proper and consistent documentation for peer counselor contacts in peer counselor data base system.
