Direct clinical work will be focused on evaluation and treatment of wounds and abscesses associated with substance use as well as HIV/STD testing and diagnosis, and STD treatment. This role will work in cooperation with the Multnomah County STD Clinic, Primary Care (Integrated Clinical Services), Pharmacy, and Corrections Health. This role will also enhance and/or create referral mechanisms for patients seeking medical services beyond the scope of the HRC. The HRC is open two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays). The front of the space is centered around a Syringe Access Program (aka Needle Exchange).
