Assoc. Professor/Professor Dept. of Psychology and Dept. of Latin-US and Linguistics (2 positions)The Department of Psychology and the Department of Chicano Studies, Languages, and Linguistics at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) announce an interdisciplinary search for two faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor for the Regents' Research Excellence Program. For the first position, we seek someone with an active program of research in neurocognitive or neurolinguistic approaches to bilingualism that incorporate neuroimaging or neuropsychological populations. For the second position, we seek someone with an active program of research on the social and cultural contexts of bilingualism or on individual differences in bilingualism. Responsibilities include conducting and publishing research, seeking and securing extramural funding, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and serving the department, university, and profession. Salary and startup packages will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Three months of summer salary will be guaranteed for the first three years.
