Registered Nurse I

<h4><b>Overview</b></h4><p>Come join a team of dedicated and compassionate staff at a new 16-bed state-of-the-art Secure Residential Facility in Essex, Vermont. You will play an essential role in the person-centered treatment of adults with severe mental illness. The facility is over 17,000 square feet with a separate full-size gymnasium.</p><p><br>Residential Counselor duties involve the care a treatment of the residents within the facility and out in the community. Residential Counselors provide education, support with life skills and milieu management, Residential Counselors support residents to appointments in the community, activities and various community visits. Duties include co-facilitating groups and activities. Residential Counselors observe resident behavior and respond therapeutically with the aim to facilitate community inclusion, independence, and skill acquisition.</p><p><br>There are 3 separate levels within this job class. Although some job duties are shared throughout the job class, there are differences in some responsibilities including expectations around the facilitation of groups, leadership roles on the floor, etc.&nbsp;</p><p>We are currently recruiting for the day and night shift. Licensed Practical Nurse - Temporary

<h4><b>Overview</b></h4><p>The Junior Counselor Director is responsible for running the youth leadership development program (the Junior Counselor program) including supervising Junior Counselors (JCs) while they are at camp, creating their schedules, directing work projects, helping with Junior Counselor Orientation and serving as a mentor and role-model. The JC Director will work as a team with the Camp Director in administering the Green Mountain Conservation Camp Program, will assume the Camp Director's duties during their absence, and enforce all camp policies. The JC Director will work under the Camp Coordinator. The JC Director will be responsible for teaching conservation education courses at a residential camp to campers ages 12-16. The JC Director will also be responsible for mentoring campers and other staff members in educational, social, professional, and personal matters and assuring that the camp goals, objectives, and the Vermont Fish &amp; Wildlife Department's mission are met.</p><p><strong>Please note:</strong> This is a residential position in either Castleton or Woodbury, VT.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Dates:</strong> Early June to late August.</p><p>We recommend interested candidates submit a cover letter along with their resume to explain their interest in the position and how their experience would apply to this position.</p><h4><b>Major Responsibilities:</b></h4><ul><li>Supervise the Junior Counselor Program (approximately 100 high school volunteers) and provide them with valuable feedback for professional growth through end of the season evaluations.</li><li>Work closely with the Camp Director to ensure that program goals and objectives of the camp are met, including health and safety policies and regulations.</li><li>Fill in for Director on their day off including sending "Daily email" to the Camp Coordinator</li><li>JC Director should assist the Camp Director during high stress disciplinary or medical situations, but Junior Counselor program will be their day-to-day focus.</li><li>Communicate with parents, volunteers, and the public in person, on the phone, and via email.</li></ul><h4><b>Specific Responsibilities:</b></h4><ul><li>Serve as a liaison between the Camp Director, Instructors, and Volunteer staff.</li><li>Work closely with the Camp Director to oversee daily camp operations.</li><li>Hold JCs to high standards regarding facilities maintenance and cleanliness, class equipment care, and time spent with campers atmealtime, swim time, and cabin time.
