This is an hourly position that works up to 29 hours per week max. <dt><h4>Job Responsibilities</h4></dt>Under supervision, provides nutritional assessments, education, and counseling to WIC participants. Develops and documents nutrition care plans for participants as required by state and district nutrition guidelines. Works with participants to help them set goals using motivational interviewing. Makes referrals when appropriate.<dt><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4></dt>Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university AND a verification statement of completion of a dietetic program accredited by the Academy of Nutrition &amp; Dietetics.
