Health Sciences Liaison LibrarianUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Health Sciences Liaison Librarian will provide the full range of co-curricular teaching and learning support, reference and research consultation, and work collaboratively with faculty and students in support of health sciences education and research and in the development of specific medical informatics and health sciences information meta-literacies. Position provides instructional assistance to members of the academic community, including students, faculty, and administrators in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, nursing and other health sciences disciplines. The Associate Clinical Professor is expected to conduct classroom and clinical laboratory teaching in optometry theory and the clinical examination course series, consistent with the department's needs. This position may have responsibilities in the areas of ocular disease, pediatrics, and/or low vision. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission.
