Job Summary
 General Duties: The Student Services Admissions Counselor &amp; Recruiter will work under the supervision of the Student Services Coordinator, Vice President of Student Services, and the Vice President of the Stanton Extension Campus. The individual shall be responsible for assisting with duties related to Student Services and the support of the College. The availability to work evenings/weekends and travel is required. Specific Duties: • Responsible for recruitment as the campus point-of-contact for admissions, including answering phone calls, assisting with walk-ins, disseminating information regarding the programs available, providing tours of the College, and facilitating the New Student Orientation. • Serve as a public relations liaison for the school in community and civic activities, promote the College, and build rapport with other agencies. • Provide attendance and behavioral counseling and reporting. • Assist and support with data entry of special industry training. • Advise students on matters of admissions, career and technical education objectives, worker characteristics, and transfers. • Participate in student recruitment and community events. • Assist team members when necessary to ensure the success of the department and College. • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Requires a high school diploma. A technical diploma, or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in education, business or industry. Two (2) years of higher education or recruiting experience preferred.

FUNCTION OF THE JOB: 
The Recruiter works under the supervision of the Coordinator of Student Services to promote educational and career pathways to dual credit, traditional, and non-traditional (adult learners). This role builds and maintains relationships with schools, community partners, and local organizations within the service area, and represents the college at recruitment events, campus tours, and community engagements. Responsibilities involve approximately 70% travel and 30% office work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Recruit dual credit, traditional, and adult learners by maintaining an assigned territory and building relationships with high schools and community partners</li>
<li>Represent the college at school visits, community events, regional/county fairs, and other recruitment activities</li>
<li>Communicate with prospective and current students through phone, email, in person, website inquiries, and social media platforms</li>
<li>Deliver presentations in small and large group settings to promote programs and explain the enrollment process</li>
<li>Schedule and coordinate campus tours, open houses, signing days, and career-related events</li>
<li>Use available technology to maintain event calendars, track prospects, document outcomes, and support data-driven recruitment efforts</li>
<li>Ensure website and social media content is accurate and engaging, submitting updates as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with Admissions, Academics, the Business Office, and extended campuses to provide accurate information and support students through the enrollment process</li>
<li>Participate in professional development opportunities, required meetings, and serve on committees such as graduation</li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
