The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving new and returned product as it enters the building; ensuring product is in saleable condition that is ready for resale and controlling the inbound flow of the dock. Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Pay Rate: $18.50 to $23.45 per hour. </li><li>Sunday - Thursday, 7:00pm start</li><li>Generous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.</li><li>Earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days.</li><li>401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! </li></ul> What you'll do as a Warehouse Receiver: <ul><li>Examine condition of product as it arrives from various carriers.</li><li>Document overages / shorts / damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation or product tampering.</li><li>Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders on how to sort and segregate product.</li><li>Follow and maintain product integrity as required by McLane Company standards.</li><li>Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer and assign doors.</li><li>Cover for Receiving Clerk as needed.</li><li>Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.</li><li>Continually meet assigned production standards.</li><li>Maintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts and damages.</li><li>Follow directions.</li><li>Work independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.</li><li>Comply with company attendance policy.</li><li>Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center; work schedules may require working an early shift, staying long for a late shift, and weekend work depending on the customer and operational requirements of the division.</li><li>Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F.</li><li>Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.</li><li>Ability and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: <ul><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred. </li><li>Preferably have previous receiving experience. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.</li></ul> Fit the following?
