Hot Zone Production Associate

Purpose: This is a hands-on supervisory position that provides support for the Central Bakery Management Team. This position is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Sanitation Department and the supervision of the daily tasks of Associates to ensure the adherence of quality and safety standards of the department, bakery and company. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensure the adherence of all specs, policies, procedures and standards. Communicate with management when violations of company/department policies and standards are not met</li><li>Read and follow production plans and meet the daily sanitation needs by monitoring the productivity of Associates and ensuring tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner</li><li>Monitor and direct the daily tasks of Associates</li><li>Provide feedback to Associates on performance-related issues and communicate with management when Associate performance does not meet expected standards</li><li>Ensure the strict adherence of safety and safe food handling practices</li><li>Train new Associates in the department and be a supportive coach for all Associates within the department</li><li>Be open-minded and receptive to change.
