As a Shipping and Receiving Assistant, you will maintain and update department files and reports. Assist other internal departments as required by providing documentation, files, and support. Works with DC to ensure contents match the order. Benefits you can count on: <ul><li>Pay rate: $17.50 </li><li>Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:00pm to 5:00am.</li><li>Earn vacation time from day one and paid holidays after 90 days.</li><li>Additional benefits: pet insurance, employee assistance programs, discount programs, and more! </li></ul> What you'll do as a Shipping and Receiving Assistant: <ul><li>Maintain schedule of incoming &amp; outgoing shipments.</li><li>Receive purchase orders, print pallet tags, and work closely with buyers, vendors, and carriers as well as receiving teammates to ensure that the proper purchase orders are received according to the schedule.</li><li>Communicate receipts of all products timely to appropriate leaders.</li><li>Also communicate no call, no shows, and rescheduled shipments. Ensure that shipments received in advance are also communicated timely.</li><li>Inspect shipments to ensure they are no damages.</li><li>Verify shipments per order requirements.</li><li>Contact manager if a mistake is identified.</li><li>Label shipments prior to loading.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: <ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred. 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office systems. </li><li>This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
