<h3>Job Description:</h3>We are looking for a Principal Systems Analyst to join us!<h3>The Role</h3>As a Principal Systems Analyst, you will play a key role on a Scrum team within the Digital Platforms WI Technology organization. Working closely with the Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Scrum Leader, Software Engineers and Quality Engineers, you will help to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity’s Digital experiences that are designed to delight our customers, anticipate their needs and match services or solutions to support effective decision making. You will also be expected to provide guidance and mentoring to the other Systems Analysts within the wider Digital Platforms Technology team<h3>The Expertise And Skills You Bring</h3><ul><li>8+ years of systems analysis experience; a focus in financial services applications is a plus</li><li>BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred</li><li><h3>​An understanding of the Agile software development methodology</h3></li><li>Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts</li><li>Experience with web component design. Direct experience working on a web application and performing web platform analysis is required. </li><li>API, database query tools, SQL skills. Experience with API testing, understanding APIs from a consumer standpoint.</li><li>Experience with Splunk or Datadog is required</li><li>Experience with Jira and Confluence</li><li>Robust critical thinking and analytical skills</li><li>Learns quickly and work through ambiguous situations</li><li>A technical problem solver comfortable working in a sophisticated and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to triage system defects in all environments</li><li>Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations</li><li>Proactive, organized, highly responsive and committed to quality</li><li>Applies a long-term mentality to help produce scalable and maintainable solutions</li><li>Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner</li><li>Confidence to convey technical concepts, capabilities and needs to team members, product owners and other internal partners</li><li>Asks exploratory questions to uncover hidden or un-identified use cases and requirements</li><li>Proficiency in writing supporting documentation including product guides, business process diagrams and/or system workflows</li><li>Skilled at influencing team members and external groups</li><li>Produce and/or maintain system feature design documentation and user training and materials</li><li>Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to junior Systems Analysts</li></ul><h3>The Team</h3>Fidelity's Workplace Investing Digital Platforms Technology team designs, develops, implements, and supports WI’s suite of Digital products and services.
