GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Adjunct Instructor in the Early Technical College Machine Tool Technology class is responsible for providing in-person theory and hands-on skills instruction to dual-enrolled high school students. Areas of instruction include blueprint reading, shop theory, precision measuring, technical math, CAD, safety, basic metallurgy, etc. The Adjunct Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and other duties as assigned. This position is part-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. between August and May each year. Scheduled class hours are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY:&nbsp; $30.00 per hour. Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions 
The workday has the potential to be varied based on the needs of the students and faculty. Lab and material prep will always be necessary daily, and the requirement to move between classrooms and work areas, often with materials and supplies. Overseeing a lab also involves standing and walking. Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and reach overhead, and lift a minimum of 20+ pounds. Must be able to use tools or special devices to work.
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience according to Tennessee Board of Regents guidelines within the range of $50,142 - $60,171.

POSITION SUMMARY This position provides support to students who require assistance operating the College’s learning systems. The tutor should be familiar with and capable of demonstrating how to use the various technologies commonly used by students at the College. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide both virtual and in-person assistance for students seeking guidance using digital course tools. Monitor and record attendance during scheduled hours. Collect feedback from students to inform future support efforts. Refer students needing additional assistance to the appropriate resource(s). Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.
Department: Engineering &amp; Media Technologies
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned. 3. Submitting requests through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. 4. Evaluating the academic progress of students. 5. Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook. 6. Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required. 7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
Required Qualifications: Associates’ degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university in the teaching field or closely related field and three years’ work experience in the Web Technology field
