This position is responsible for overseeing and advancing the institution’s continuing education, professional development courses, customized workforce training, and community engagement initiatives. Job Duties
Workforce Training: • Meet with Industry and community representatives to assess training needs and identify new program opportunities. •Design, develop, and implement customized training programs based on identified needs. •Recruit, hire, and supervise qualified instructors and trainers. •Coordinate program scheduling, promotion, and marketing to individuals, businesses, and community partners. •Develop cost structure for training to earn a profit and raise revenue. Placement: •Provide career development support for students and alumni, including job search strategies and résumé assistance. •Maintain Placement website. •Meet with classes to present job search strategies. •Establish and maintain employer relationships to identify job openings and facilitate employment, internship, apprenticeship, and job shadowing opportunities. •Plan, coordinate, and execute job fairs and on-campus recruiting events to connect students with potential employers.
Anderson County Higher Education Site Director: • Collaborate with Roane State Community College (RSCC) staff and faculty to address building maintenance and operational issues in coordination with TCAT Knoxville staff and faculty. For example, emergency drills, facility closures, accommodating special guests and visitors, etc. •Plan and oversee student activities and events, including Campus Activities Board programming. •Manage and organize student support initiatives, including food pantry operations and related resource distribution.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in the field of workforce development. Must have the initiative to be a self-starter and the ability to travel across the college's service area. Must be able to work a variety of hours to attend events.

Position Summary: The HR Operations Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations. Oversee day-to-day operations of the HR office, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing (monitoring and ordering) office supplies and equipment, general office organization; handling purchasing for the HR department and assisting in monitoring HR department expenditures; maintaining inventory of HR forms and materials; mail and package handling such as sorting and distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail packages, managing courier services as needs; coordinating with facilities management for any office maintenance needs, etc. &nbsp;
20% Payroll Liasion 
Serve as the primary liaison between PSCC employees/supervisors and the TBR Shared Payroll Center, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll documentation and personnel transactions. Track payroll deadlines, communicate requirements to employees and supervisors, and ensure timely resolution of errors. Coordinate with HR staff and TBR Payroll to resolve discrepancies, employee concerns, and system issues. Other duties as assigned.
15% Staffing Support 
Assists with HR staffing needs by coordinating job postings and recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews as needed and liaising with candidates; preparing onboarding materials and assisting with the facilitation of the onboarding process for new hires when assigned; maintaining accurate employee records and databases; maintaining calendar for executive director and the department such as scheduling meetings, interviews, appointments, etc.; coordinating room reservations for HR events; arranging refreshments for HR events as necessary; assisting with the preparation of materials for training sessions or orientations; supporting the organization of HR events or employee programs, etc.
15% Communication
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to HR and Payroll functions by greeting visitors to the HR department, routing visitors with specialized questions to the appropriate HR or Payroll staff member/subject matter expert (SME), answering phone calls and emails, drafting and sending correspondence, and routing inquiries to appropriate HR team members – and, follow through to ensure closure. Communicate effectively with employees, candidates, and other stakeholders to provide information and support.

10% Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including reports, presentations, and employee files. Ensure that all records are kept up-to-date, confidential, and compliant with board and college policies and regulations.
Prepare and manage documentation related to the onboarding process; handle exit documentation for departing employees.
Monitor and manage programs involving volunteers and minors on campus, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Administer the Public Service Loan Form (PSLF) program.
Verification of Employment (VOE).
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures. Ensure that these documents are easily accessible to employees and regularly updated to reflect any changes.
5% Collaboration
Work closely with HR team members to support various HR initiatives and projects. Serve on the employee recognition committee. Actively participate in the support staff committee. Supervise department student employees and/or interns. Other duties as assigned.

<li>Expand recruitment pipelines for student employment and internships by engaging managers across campuses, developing best practice guidelines, and increasing alumni hires. <li>Lead college-wide recognition programs and events that celebrate employee excellence, service, and contributions. 25% Active Learning Support – Develop, coordinate, and evaluate professional learning for staff, including soft skills, compliance-based training and leadership in collaboration with the PACE director, HR executive director, and other stakeholders (including but not limited to Pellissippi Academy: Path to Excellence; Pellissippi State Trainer Academy (PSTA), etc.). Collaborate with the Cross Functional Talent Development team to maintain a year-round training calendar and other college wide professional development initiatives. Lead career advancement programming for staff, providing clear paths for growth and supporting internal talent development. 20% Maintain hardware and software inventory related to Technology Access Fee and IT purchases. Assist with ongoing equipment surplus and equipment donations to other institutions.
10% Prepare and maintains IT departmental forms including accumulated leave balances, travel requests and claims, petty cash vouchers.&nbsp; Maintain documentation related to IT department as required.
10% Manage all enterprise level software licenses.&nbsp; Work with vendors to ensure contracts are current and reflect needs specified by staff.
10% Assist Chief Information Officer with various projects as needed within the department.&nbsp; Makes arrangements for travel, conferences, appointment, special events or other business activities; keeps appointment schedule and develops itineraries. Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: The overall purpose of the executive assistant is to support the needs of the Administrative Affairs vice president and serve as their liaison between various departments within the division and external contacts such as the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), State Audit, SACS, and THEC. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Associate of Applied Science-level Aviation Maintenance Technology (AVIT) classes and laboratories; create instructional materials and laboratory experiences; promote the program through local, regional and national engagement; participate in program assessment activities related to accreditations (e.g., SACS, ATMAE, NIMS), certification (FAA) and grant parameters; perform student advising; and complete other departmental services as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

<li>Teach Aviation Technology classes (General, Airframe, and Power Plant).</li>
<li>Create instructional materials and laboratory experiences, teach courses at a variety of times in response to institutional needs, evaluate students’ progress toward achievement of stated student learning outcomes, and inform them promptly of their progress in the course.</li>
<li>Contribute to the management of labs and equipment, develop or update course syllabi for courses within the college guidelines and curriculum as necessary to remain current with the industry, specifically FAA requirements, and review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.</li>

SALARY: Commensurate with Tennessee Board of Regents guidelines of $30 per hour.
