The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for the Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor position to work at the TCAT Knoxville Main Campus. This position will typically work 18 to 30 hours per week. POSITION SUMMARY: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories. PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM: The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and may then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) used to obtain nursing licensure in Tennessee.
