The person in this position reports to the Business Office Coordinator. The person in this role will be responsible for incoming payments and will help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner and in compliance with TBR and federal policies and standards. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

<li>An associate degree or higher, plus four or more years of successful full-time paid employment in an accounting field, including experience with maintaining or reviewing financial records and reconciling accounts.</li>

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:

<li>Prepare and submit student refunds through Banner.</li>
<li>Monitor/maintain student receivables.</li>
<li>Maintain strict confidentiality as it relates to the financial information, employee information, student records, student financial aid, state and federal reports and any other information generated for the Business Office and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton.</li>
<li>Reconcile daily receipts, prepare bank deposits for Elizabethton campus, and upload journal entries into Banner system to identify daily receipts.</li>
<li>Assist the Business Office Coordinator with various analyses, reports, and duties.</li>
<li>Reconcile and track monthly bookstore commission earnings.</li>
<li>Close all cashier sessions daily for applicable staff.</li>
<li>Communicate with students with professionalism and confidentiality regarding account balances per TBR policy.</li>

General Duties:

The Opportunity
